Sessions
shall be
convened on a date fixed by the
Chairperson of the Commission, in
consultation with the Chairperson
of the African Union Commission
and the other members

The Commission may hold joint
sessions in consultation with the
African Court on Human and Peoples’
Rights, the Committee of Experts on
the Rights and Welfare of the Child,
or any other African regional human
rights organ.

in the territory of any other State

Private Sessions

Session,
the
Secretary
to
the
Commission,
members of the Secretariat and
persons
providing
technical
or secretarial assistance to the
Commission shall be present unless
the Commission decides otherwise.
