worked for from 2010 to 2013.

The Complainant submits that when he and his mother moved to Steelport in
2010, he was enrolled in grade 2 at Laerskool Steelport Academy in Limpopo
Province, and he attended the aforementioned school until grade 5 in 2013. In
2014, he enrolled for grade 6 at Impita International School, Tubatse, Steelpoort
in Limpopo Province. He submits that shortly after that, his mother's employer
relocated to Pretoria, and he and his mother moved to Ga-Mampuru village,
where she rented a room in the house of a certainelderly woman who is an aunt
of one Mrs. Velapi Rose Nzimande.

The Complainant submits that late in 2014, he and liis,mother moved to Pretoria,
where she continued working as a domestic work~r tpJtil her untimely death in
December 2014, a few days before Christmas day. The Gomplainant'su.bmits that
after his mother's funeral, the Nzimande famIly accominbdated and cared for
him, and he continues to live with. them to '

The Complainant, submits that in ..201p he started attending Makopole II
Secondary School in grade 8 and continued until grclde 12 in 2021. He sat for his
grade 12 examinations at the aforementioned school, and at the time of
submission of this Communication, he was waiting for his examination results,
in order to enroll for further education at a college or university in the 2022
academic year. He submits that this would, however, not be possible without an
identification document.

Complainant suBffi.its that he does not have either of these documents, as her
mother did not have identity documents at the time of her death; therefore she
was not issued a death certificate.
