Strategies / activities i) Develop a Database for law enforcement agencies; ii) Conduct regional workshops, seminars and training; iii) Hold regular meetings between legal experts of the law enforcement agencies and SADC Legal Affairs Unit to develop the necessary legislation on combating crime; iv) Establish a common approach on illegal migration and refugees; v) Establish mechanisms for regional co-ordination among Customs and Immigration Services; vi) Harmonise and consolidate immigration procedures and control mechanisms to facilitate the movement of people amongst Member States; vii) Institute measures to combat human trafficking; and viii) Strengthen internal and external co-operation to combat terrorist acts.
