Increasing surface water storage with respect to the ARWR of the SADC region;  2. Increasing irrigated land for food security;   3. Increasing  hydropower  generation  for  energy  security,  improved  livelihoods  and  economic  development;  4. Increasing the coverage of safe drinking water supply to the SADC citizens; and  5. Increased coverage of improved and better sanitation services to SADC citizens.          29
