The Political Sector 3.1 Analysis 3.1.1 Following the achievement of peace in Angola and the ongoing peace efforts in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) the Southern African region is currently enjoying relative peace, political stability and security. 3.1.2 The regional political situation is characterised by the acceptance of political pluralism.
