A Division of the Court may, for sufficient reason, extend the time limited by these Rules or by any decision of itself for the doing of any act authorised or required by these Rules, whether before or after the expiration of such time and whether before or after the doing of the act, and any reference in these Rules to any such time shall be construed as a reference to such time as so extended. Extension of time SECTION II: REGISTRAR AND REGISTRY 5. (1) The Registrar shall be responsible for the acceptance and custody of documents and for effecting service as provided for by these Rules. Powers of the Registrar (2) The Registrar shall have custody of the seal of the Court and shall be responsible for the records and the publications of the Court. (3) The Registrar shall be responsible for all administrative work and in particular for the accounts and financial administration in accordance with the financial procedures of the Community. 5A.(1) There shall be such number of Deputy or Assistant Registrars of the Court as the President may deem fit to establish. (2) The Registrar may delegate to the Deputy or Office Assistant Registrars any of his powers or functions under the provisions of these Rules. Delegation of Registrar’s powers and Oath of (3) Every Deputy and Assistant Registrar shall, before embarking on his or her functions, take an oath of office set forth in the First Schedule of these Rules. 6.
