005081 |. THE PARTIES 1. The Applicant, Alfred Agbesi Woyome, is a national of the Republic of Ghana. He is also a business man, a Board Chairman and Director in three (3) companies, namely, Waterville Holding (BVI) Company, Austro-Investment Company and M-Powapak Gmb Company. 2. The Respondent State ts the Republic of Ghana, which became a Party to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights (hereinafter referred to as “the Charter’) on 1 March 1989, to the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the Establishment of the African Court on Human referred to as “the Protocol’) on 16 August and Peoples’ 2005.
