9. On 5 December 2018, the Applicant filed the signed Application and following a reminder, he filed copies of the judgments of national courts on 3 January 2019. 10. On 1 April 2019, the Court acting on its own motion granted the Applicant legal aid. 11. On 16 April 2019, the Registry served the Application on the Respondent State requesting it to file its Response within 60 days of receipt. 12. On 29 August 2019, the Respondent State filed its Response, and this was served on the Applicant on the same day for his Reply. 13. On 19 November 2019, the Applicant requested for an extension of time to file its Reply. 14. Notwithstanding reminders from the Registry, the Applicant did not file his Reply. 15. On the 27 April 2024, pleadings were closed and the Parties were duly notified. IV. PRAYERS OF THE PARTIES 16. The Applicant prays the Court to find that the Respondent State violated Articles 1, 3, 4 and 5 of the Charter and to: i. Quash his conviction; ii. Grant him reparations. 17.
