Case Headnotes: A letter dated August 22nd 2011 was received by a registrar at the court, where advocate Marcel Ceccaldi requested an advisory opinion from the court on behalf of the Peoples Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. The court instructed the registrar to ask the author of the request to show proof that he was acting on behalf of Libya, but unfortunately the author declined to respond to this request.
