1. Health care: guarantee that health systems are established to provide adequate access to health services for all.46
2. Sickness: Cash benefits should be provided to those incapable of working due to ill-health to cover periods of loss of earnings. Persons suffering from long periods of sickness should qualify for disability benefits.46
3. Old age: appropriate measures should be taken to establish social security schemes that provide benefits to older persons, starting at a specific age, to be prescribed by national law.46
4. Unemployment: benefits to cover the loss or lack of earnings due to the inability to obtain or maintain suitable employment.46
5. Employment injury: the protection of workers who are injured in the course of employment or other productive work.46
6. Family and child support: the provision of adequate family support, particularly for children, the aged and people living with disabilities.46
7. Maternity: Paid maternity leave should be granted to all women, and benefits should be provided for an adequate period.46
8. Disability: the provision of adequate income support to persons with disabilities who, owing to disability or disability-related factors, have temporarily lost, or received a reduction in, their income, have been denied employment opportunities or have a permanent disability.46
