32/ Guidelines on the conditions of arrest, police custody and pre-trial detention in Africa 47. Reporting State parties to the African Charter, in their periodic reports to the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, shall provide information on the extent to which national legislation, policy and administration pertaining to the use and conditions of arrest, police custody and pre-trial detention are consistent with these Guidelines.
