The Applicant's Prayers 17. In his Application dated 2 August 2013, the Applicant asks that the Court makes any orders and reliefs that it may deem fit to grant, The Applicant also requests that the Court quashes the decisions by the trial court and the Appellate courts convicting him of the offences he was charged with, acquits him and sets him free. 18. The Applicant filed the Application and subsequently, PALU started representing him. 19. In the Reply to the Respondent's Response dated 8 April 2014, filed by PALU, the prayers are that: "The Applicant seeks the following reliefs from this Honourable Court; a. A Declaration that the Respondent State has violated the Applicant's rights as guaranteed under Articles 1, 3, 5, 6, 7(1), and 9(1) ofthe African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights. b. An Order compelling the Respondent State to release the Applicant from detention. c. An Order for reparations. d. An Order compelling the Respondent State to report to this Honourablo Court every six (6) months on the implementation of its decision. e.
