The
Applicant
had
entered
into
an
employment
contract
University as a lecturer in French to some junior students.

complaints
against
him,
the
Applicant
was
dismissed from his post through a letter, written by the Registrar of the
University, dated 2 December

1999.
He took his case through Malawian
including the Industrial Relations Court, right up to the Supreme
Court of Appeal, the latter being the highest judicial authority in Malawi.
The Applicant was still not satisfied; he therefore took the matter to the
Commission,
He
later withdrew the matter before the Commission,
lodged this application.
