xi. The right to food, protected by Articles 4, 16 and 22 of the Charter, and Article 15 of the Protocol on the Rights of Women and the Pretoria Declaration; xii. The right to satisfactory environment, protected by Article 24 of the Charter and Article 18(1) of the Protocol on the Rights of Women; xiv. The right of peoples to peace, protected by Article 23 of the Charter and Articles 10 and 11 of the Protocol on the Rights of Women. III. SUMMARY OF THE PROCEDURE BEFORE THE COURT 9. On 21 August 2023, the Applicant State filed its Application and on 19 September 2023, it filed a request seeking expedited proceedings. 10. On 2 October 2023, the Registry served the main Application on the Respondent State, together with the request for expedited proceedings, for its Responses within 90 days and 30 days, respectively. 11. On 28 October 2023, the Respondent State requested the Registry to provide it with copies of the Application and the request for expedited proceedings in English. 12. On 16 November 2023, the Registry served on the Respondent State the Application and the request in English, for its Responses within the same time-limits as indicated in paragraph 10 above. The Respondent State acknowledged receipt thereof on 4 December 2023. 13. At the lapse of the 30-day period, the Respondent State did not file its Response to the additional Application. 14.
