Keywords

Case Head Notes: Osama Ibrahim Al Saide Ali Konswa alleged that his goods worth €74,325 were unlawfully removed and destroyed in Cameroon in 2004. Although he pursued complaints before several administrative authorities, he did not establish exhaustion of effective judicial remedies and waited about 18 years before approaching the African Commission. The Commission therefore declared the Communication inadmissible under Articles 56(5) and 56(6) of the African Charter.
