Article 17: The Pan-African Parliament


  • Paragraph 1
    In order to ensure the full participation of African peoples in the development and economic integration of the continent, a Pan-African Parliament shall be established.

  • Paragraph 2
    The composition, powers, functions and organisation of the Pan-African Parliament shall be defined in a protocol relating thereto.
