Article 9: Resignation, Suspension and Removal from Office
- Paragraph 1
A Judge may resign his/her position in writing addressed to the President for transmission to the Chairperson of the Assembly through the Chairperson of the Commission. - Paragraph 2
A Judge shall not be suspended or removed from office save, where, on the recommendation of two-thirds majority of the other members, he/she no longer meets the requisite conditions to be a Judge. - Paragraph 3
The President shall communicate the recommendation for the suspension or removal of a Judge to the Chairperson of the Assembly through the Chairperson of the Commission. - Paragraph 4
Such a recommendation of the Court shall become final upon its adoption by the Assembly.
