Article 52: Costs

• Paragraph 1
  Unless otherwise decided by the Court, each party shall bear its own costs.


• Paragraph 2
  Should it be required in the interest of justice, free legal aid may be provided for the person presenting an individual communication, under conditions to be set out in the Rules of Court.
